Rutgers CARE Lab

The Rutgers CARE Lab focuses on understanding how environmental exposures shape human health, particularly in the context of climate change. Our research integrates exposure science and advanced sensing technologies to study how factors such as extreme heat and air pollution affect health, cognition, and well-being. We develop and deploy low-cost sensors, wearable devices, and data-driven tools to measure real-world exposures and identify actionable solutions that protect and restore health in vulnerable communities.
